Pressure

“He who is of calm and happy nature will hardly feel the pressure of age, but to him who is of an opposite disposition youth and age are equally a burden.”

-Plato

In two days, I am presenting a 2 and a half hour class about automotive facebook marketing to potentially 150 car dealers…

I am also charged with getting a website that takes 90 days to build, up in 60 days for a new open point franchise…

When I return from this conference, I have Jury Duty…

3 days later, I close on my first home…

The next day I have to ensure that our entire staff is trained on a CRM system that nobody wants to learn and will cost us thousands of dollars in fines if everyone does not pass within the very short allotted time frame…

I work full time for a 5 (soon to be 6) new car franchise group and I am running my own digital marketing company…

AND I LOVE IT!

What is it that drives some to achieve and succeed and continue to push on while others show up to do just the bare minimum? What separates the NFL Quarterback or coach that WANTS the ball in the QB’s hands at the end of the game with only seconds left from the one who prefers to take the field goal for the tie? Why do some rise to challenges while others fold under pressure?

I WILL give a great presentation…

I WILL find a way to get that website up…

I WILL I can do my civic duty…

I WILL close on time…

And Marlboro Nissan‘s staff WILL be trained on CRM…

The only difference in my opinion, is conscious choice. Who will you choose to be when life offers to hone you?
