Timothy Martell – A “Shiny” Perspective

You don’t have to worry. I’m not going to tell you a pack of lies to make me look good. I’m just going to tell you what happened…

If someone would have suggested to me 5 years ago that I would actually want to take the time to write about the miscellaneous fleeting thoughts that go whizzing by everyday, I would have recommended a good shrink to them.

I mean, really why the hell do we take the time to read anyone’s blog? Just another self-important douche-bag right? Well opinions do vary! It’s really simple. Life is weird. I happen to enjoy talking about mine and for the most part, most of the people who have heard me talk about it usually drop that wonderful cliche, “You should write a book!”

Well if you can’t already tell, I’m no shakespeare. I also have SEVERE adult ADHD. I mean, its bad. I know, I know, everyone thinks they have ADD these days. Seems like your not cool anymore if you don’t, but that’s just some bull shit people say who want to hide the fact that they are idiots. ADD sounds a lot cooler than IDIOT. I’m not an idiot. But living with ADHD can sure make you feel like one sometimes. Fortunately, I’m brilliant! (and humble too!) So that helps to compensate. Damnit! I’m getting off track…

The point is, it seems that a lot of people find the perspective of people with ADD somewhat amusing… While I can’t share their perspective, I can share mine, and maybe you will learn something, maybe you’ll get a laugh out of it or maybe you’ll just think I’m an idiot! You be the judge…

One point of contention. Yes, I am the CEO of an internet marketing company, a developing analytics company and I did work in the automotive retail sector for 21 years prior to that. This, however is my personal blog. The views here in no way represent the views of my company or the people whom I employ. I may say something vulgar or offensive from time to time so please, get a helmet or go read someone else’s blog.

Also, if you want me to look at your tool or product or gadget or whatever, or want free advise of some kind, I am more than happy to oblige. Please be professional and contact me via normal business channels and not in the comments of my personal blog about whacky stuff and impulse that I feel compelled to share. Use your head. LASTLY (I promise). If you want me to respond to something quickly. Send me an e-mail. Remember the ADHD part? Yeah. Some times I blog. Some times I forget I have this blog. It could be a month before I read your comment. It could be 15 seconds. You never know. Oh and P L E A S E share your opinion. (Thats what comments are for)
