I’m not getting on the couch!

If you thought this was going to be a look at my childhood to see how screwed up I was or if my parents made me screwed up, well sorry. Did I forget to mention? I have ADHD. So there will be no rhyme or reason why I post what I post when I post it… Unless it is like this post which is explaining why I am posting what I am posting… PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!

So I’m buying a house. OK let me say that again, HOLY SH*T! I AM BUYING A  HOUSE! I can’t believe it. I mean 5 years ago I couldn’t pay my own rent and now I am buying a house! Its amazing! Oh yea, its my first home so that’s why I’m so amped up.

OK so I’m wicked (yeah I’m from Boston, you got a problem with that!?) excited, but I am so f’ing stressed its unbelievable. Maybe its not even stress… Maybe its just nervous excitement… I mean, I think I can do it, but it’s such a big deal, I can’t even get my head around it sometimes… Or maybe I’ve just been drinking too much coffee… I dunno..

So I’m buying a house. It’s a really nice house. I know I’m biased, but it was on the market for two years now I’m getting it for an amazing price. SCORE! Right? I know you probably want to see pictures. I’ll update this post with some pics when I go to the inspection this Saturday.

I just got married in May (2010) and now I am buying a house! I can’t wait to surprise my kids… Oh yeah, guess I better explain that:

I have two lovely daughters: Samantha and Alexandra, from what I refer to as, “The previous life…” They live in Florida with their Mom and stepdad, two half sisters and I lost count of the pets (It’s a literal zoo). They spend the summer with us and we alternate holidays. It’s tough, but it works.

So I can’t wait for them to come up this summer to see their awesome new house on 2 acres on a lake! This is about as ADHD as I get. I mean, I can’t function properly right now. Once I get the down payment together I’ll feel a lot better. I am really playing this one close. I’ll probably get the money 2-3 days before I need it. And there are a lot of things that all have to go just right to make it on time.

Anyway… I need a drink… TTYL
