One critic commented that it was a long and confusing read filled with contradictions…

FED BULLSHIT

Will we ever learn? Government gone wild puts perspective on the out of control spending that has led to the worst national debt in history. Don’t be fooled by semantics. Government spending and national debt are NOT the same thing.

Pressure – The Grindstone of Greatness

Pressure

“He who is of calm and happy nature will hardly feel the pressure of age, but to him who is of an opposite disposition youth and age are equally a burden.”

-Plato

In two days, I am presenting a 2 and a half hour class about automotive facebook marketing to potentially 150 car dealers…

I am also charged with getting a website that takes 90 days to build, up in 60 days for a new open point franchise…

When I return from this conference, I have Jury Duty…

3 days later, I close on my first home…

The next day I have to ensure that our entire staff is trained on a CRM system that nobody wants to learn and will cost us thousands of dollars in fines if everyone does not pass within the very short allotted time frame…

I work full time for a 5 (soon to be 6) new car franchise group and I am running my own digital marketing company…

AND I LOVE IT!

What is it that drives some to achieve and succeed and continue to push on while others show up to do just the bare minimum? [click to continue…]

2005 Chateau Moulin Haut-Laroque Fronsac

Chateau Moulin Haut-Laroque FronsacFor me, the 2005 Chateau Moulin Haut-Laroque Fronsac is not yet ready for drinking. Though it is a decent medium ruby red it is not yet showing the personality one would expect from the nose. A solid 87 points, with notes of spicy black cherry. This wine is an “experience”. The extremely ripe nose followed by equally surprising silky palette is only exceeded by the long finish of ripe tannins finally concluding with a powerful floral lift. The complexity and structure of this wine leads me to believe this will be an incredible ager. Lay it down for 20-25 years and this will be a king of Bordeaux’s well into the high 90+ points ratings. If you must drink it now, let it open for at least a day.

Hilarious Video

So I had to share this from Wikimotive’s Automotive Social Media Marketing section. Click here to find out why a joy of man’s desiring is a touch of wood — don’t worry, this is safe for work and kids as well, but sure sounds funny!

Final Walkthrough Imminent!

Tim MartellTomorrow Erin and I are going to the final walk through of our new home. Exciting for sure, but there is some anticipation. It’s really starting to set in that this will be our home for the next 30 years! While there is no question that the home is beautiful, I can’t help but think, “was there something we missed? Did we ask all the right questions? Did the home inspector miss anything?”

Seeing the pictures from the appraisal and realizing that the current owners have begun packing for their move really hits home. We’re really buying a house. [click to continue…]

2009 Mollydooker Carnival of Love Shiraz

111 Chop House in Worcester, MA features Incredible Wines at Rock Bottom Prices!

2009 Mollydooker Carnival of LoveThis wine has been on Wine Spectator’s top ten wine’s list 3 out of the last 4 years. There are not enough words in existence to adequately describe just how incredible the experience of drinking this wine. Prior to my initial introduction to this wine, I was not a fan of Shiraz wether 100% or blended.

This wine is a stunner with immense depth and integrity. The 2009 Mollydooker Carnival of Love starts off strong and builds through its long and powerful finish. The delightful 90% fruit weight centers on blueberry, plum, meaty cherry, cedar and cream, with a very subtle hint of mint. The tannins are elegantly polished. This is perhaps, the best year of this vintage to date. I would expect this wine to age well, so stock up and lay some down. [click to continue…]

Medical Mindf*ck!: Need a new Kidney? Print one on your HP!

What happens when you can just print out new body parts? This video will blow your mind!

What will this mean for average life expectancy? The ability to “print” bone, tissue, even whole organs? What if getting lung cancer just meant you ripped one lung out and printed a new one? Would more people smoke? What are the social ramifications of no longer having consequences to irresponsible lifestyle? One thing is for sure, after you see this, it makes every day life seem a lot smaller in comparison! Automotive SEO seems vastly less interesting and important now!

Nostalgic Moment

flight of the navigatorSo for the first weekend in a long time, I find myself with “nothing” that I “need” to be doing. OK so there are a thousand things I probably should be doing, but sometimes you just need to veg. So I find myself sitting on the couch with the house to myself watching of all things, Flight of the Navigator. I am reminded of a time when CGI and 1080P weren’t prerequisites to great movie making.

I mean this is great stuff. Anyone in the 30+ crowd should be able to relate to this. The obnoxious little brother, the cute little fuzzy guy from a planet that blew up, Sarah Jessica Parker as a teenager with huge curly 80’s perm hair. They just don’t make ’em like this anymore. So if you find yourself with nothing to do on a weekend and want to reminisce, grab some popcorn and remember, “YOU ARE… THE NAVIGATOR!”

Dark Matter/Energy = Time

Universe ExplainedDark energy is generally regarded as a hypothetical form of energy that permeates all of space and tends to increase the rate of expansion of the universe. Currently, this is the most accepted theory to explain recent observation that the universe appears to be expanding at an accelerating rate. I have a new theory that may completely explain the origins and results of: The Big Bang, The Big Rip, Quintessence, Dark EnergyBubble Nucleation and the formation of all reality.
